About Phillips/Day/Forster/Henderson
Hello and Welcome

If any of the names above are relevant to you, please take a look... we just
may be related!!

For your reference...

Our Fathers side of the family 'Phillips' came from Staffordshire England,
Eventually settling in Coatham Warrenby North Yorkshire. The 'Day' family
married into the Phillips Family and came from Boston Lincolnshire England.

Of course, there are many other names who married in between. Maybe one
belongs to you:)

Our Mothers side 'Forster' came from West Hartlepool and the 'Henderson'
Family Married into the Forster side and they came from Durham, eventually
settling in Middlesbrough Cleveland England.

My main intrest is Warrenby Coatham right now. Our GG Grandfather Charles
Phillips moved to Warrenby with his wife Harriet Day. They had several
Children. One of them was Our Nanna and the other our Aunt who we knew. Sadly
they are both long gone now. However, There were several brothers who may
of married and had children. I am sure they are long gone now too, but must
have ancestors in maybe the Redcar area.

If by chance, that means anything to you Please Please do look at our tree and
email me. We would love more info on them and to find living relatives.

I am adding pictures and information to site all the time.

Big thankyou to Andy Robinson for all his help and information .. He is
the first living relative I found. Turns out he is our 3rd Cousin
one time removed :)

Also Thankyou to Gordon from the USA who I got alot of the Phillips
informations from.

UPDATE; thankyou to Hazel who is our 3rd cousin. Hazel has been most helpful
and has emailed to me transcripts with information that was collected over the
years. Thanks to Hazel's mum Frances who has kept it safe all these years.

UPDATE 30.03.2007: Found another Cousin. Second cousins infact but this time
on our Mother's side. Jeff Trotter is his name and his grandmother was Agnes
Foster, who was our Grandfathers sister. Would you belive it that she was
living not far from Mum in 1967 and mum didn't know!!

UPDATE 05/11/2007: Recently Found another Cousin John Stevens. He is our 4th
cousin on our Fathers side 'Phillips' His GG Grandmother was Emma Phillips. He
has forwarded some Certificates that I have found useful. From one particular
cert it tells us that Our GGG Grandmother Elizabeth's maiden name was
infact 'Baker'. Many Thanks Johnxx

Please feel free to email me and Please sign my guestbook

A Genealogist's Prayer

Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.

Lord, help me trace the ancient roads
On which my fathers trod,
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.

Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript,
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.

Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find,
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.
